Your files stay yours
Opening, editing, or exporting through a Grizzly tool does not transfer your ownership to Grizzly or automatically apply our software license to your files. Third-party asset rights continue to apply.
Free tools and connected services
Your own-file upload, editing, and download workflows remain free. Connected-server file tools retain their existing matching-product subscription and exact-server authorization requirements. Free connected listings do not count as subscriptions.
Original software and third-party components
The license applies only to original copyrightable portions in which Grizzly Gaming GG LLC owns or controls the rights. Third-party software, game properties, fonts, reference data, and external artwork retain their own terms. Earlier license grants and lawful source-host viewing and forking rights remain intact.
This notice does not represent a government registration or create ownership where none exists. For additional source-code, redistribution, or integration permissions, use the published support channel.

1. SCOPE
This license applies only to original, copyrightable portions of this website
software and accompanying documentation in which Grizzly Gaming GG LLC owns
or controls the necessary rights ("Grizzly Software"). The reviewed coverage
and exclusions are recorded in docs/licensing/coverage.json.
This license does not establish authorship, assign a contributor's rights to
the company, create rights in unprotectable material, or claim ownership of
the underlying ideas, functionality, file formats, or third-party platforms.
2. PERMITTED HOSTED USE
When Grizzly makes a hosted service or tool available, you may access that
service and load, execute, and make ordinary browser/cache copies of its
delivered client software as needed for its supported use, subject to the
applicable published service terms and any separate written agreement.
Workflows offered for free remain available under their published access
terms. This license creates no new fees, subscriptions, server permissions,
or conditions for opening, editing, or downloading your own files.
3. RESERVED SOURCE AND DISTRIBUTION RIGHTS
Except for the hosted use above, a separate written permission, rights granted
by an applicable third-party or earlier license, or rights provided by law,
no permission is granted to copy, modify, distribute, sublicense, sell,
rebrand, or operate a separate copy of the Grizzly Software. Contact Grizzly
through its published support channel for additional permissions.
Public availability of source code does not by itself grant these additional
permissions. Rights granted by the terms of the source-hosting platform,
including applicable viewing and forking permissions, remain unaffected.
4. THIRD-PARTY MATERIAL AND EARLIER GRANTS
Third-party code, dependencies, fonts, images, game assets, reference data,
names, and other material retain their respective ownership and licenses.
Their license terms and required notices take precedence for that material.
Imports or use by a covered file do not make that external material Grizzly
Software. Do not remove or replace its applicable attribution or notices.
This license does not revoke or narrow permissions already granted under an
earlier license, replace an upstream license, or add restrictions to rights
provided by third-party licenses or applicable law. Where a combined work is
subject to another governing license, this notice does not override it.
See THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md and public/legal/third-party-notices.txt for the
website's component notices and inventory limitations. Artwork with unverified
ownership is excluded from this license's ownership claim.
5. USER FILES AND OUTPUTS
You retain whatever rights you hold in files and content you open, upload,
edit, create, or export. This license does not transfer those rights to
Grizzly, impose this software license on your files merely because a tool
processed them, or require a royalty for those outputs.
Third-party game and asset licenses continue to apply. A Grizzly tool cannot
grant ownership or usage rights in content that its user does not possess.
Any permissions needed to process submitted content are governed by the
applicable service terms, not an ownership transfer under this license.
6. BRANDING
No permission is granted to use Grizzly names, logos, or marks as the branding
of another product or to imply sponsorship or endorsement. Lawful descriptive
references and rights provided by law remain unaffected. This notice does
not represent federal copyright or trademark registration.
7. SEPARATE AGREEMENTS
Separately approved permissions may cover source access, integration,
redistribution, commercial licensing, or selected open-source releases where
Grizzly controls the necessary rights. Separate written service agreements
and the applicable published service terms continue to govern service use.
