A readable explanation of what platform data is used, why it is used, and where it fits.

The platform uses a limited set of account, guild, listing, support, and runtime-related data so the Website, access layer, and product surfaces can work together. This page explains that in plain language.

What we collect

Only the information needed to operate the platform and connected services.

  • Discord identity and account references such as Discord IDs and usernames
  • Guild and server context used for connected access, listings, and support flows
  • Listing media and listing content submitted by server owners
  • Runtime, activity, or server context when a supported product integration is enabled
Why we use it

To keep discovery, access, dashboards, and support working as one platform.

  • To verify connected access and tie users to the right player or guild routes
  • To operate public listings, player views, admin dashboards, and support surfaces
  • To power live product behavior where a connected product surface is already enabled
  • To troubleshoot platform issues and support real user requests

1. Account and identity data

The platform uses Discord-linked identity data such as Discord IDs, usernames, guild IDs, and related access context so it can power sign-in, access checks, and connected routes across GrizzlyGaming-GG and the related product surfaces.

2. Listing, support, and server context

Server owners may provide listing text, images, public server details, and other content needed to power the public discovery experience. Support flows may also collect the context needed to understand what went wrong and where the issue happened.

3. Runtime and product data

When a supported product integration is enabled, the platform may process game-server or runtime-related information required for product features. This can include DayZ-related server context, player-linked events, or other product-specific data that the live product surface already uses.

4. Where data is stored

Platform data is stored in the managed infrastructure used to operate the Grizzly ecosystem, including the shared platform database and related storage or hosting systems required for listings, dashboards, support, and connected services.

5. Third-party services

The platform depends on third-party services where needed. Discord is part of account and guild access. Nitrado may be involved where supported DayZ integrations are enabled. Additional infrastructure providers may also support storage, hosting, or database operation behind the scenes.

6. Data sharing and retention

We do not sell platform user data. Information is retained only for the time and scope needed to operate the platform, keep connected access working, support users, or preserve truthful product history where it already exists.

7. Questions or removal requests

If you need clarification or want to ask about a removal request, use the support routes or contact the platform through the published Grizzly support paths.
